What is Tooling U?

Tooling U-SME is an online training component designed to provide theory based instruction in a flexible and self-paced format. It covers the fundamental concepts of manufacturing and will assist in student learning.

How is it Being Used in the Certificate Classes?

We have chosen to integrate ToolingU-SME online component of curriculum, learning activities and simulations into our curriculum to assist in the delivery of course content. Aligned with the nationally-recognized and ANSI/ISO accredited, Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician (CPT) program, students will be introduced to areas of safety, quality, production processes, and maintenance. The Diversified Manufacturing Technology certificate offers multiple methods of delivery, including lecture, hands-on labs, online coursework, and developed training simulations. ToolingU-SME is the primary source used for delivery of material for our students.
